Farms

Both our Maryland and Idaho farms have proactively implemented water conservation measures and renewable energy use initiatives, such as solar-powered water heating and radiant floor heating. We are also dedicated to reducing our company farms' impact on the environment, and continue to explore new ways to reduce green house gases, including actively working toward meeting our industry's biggest challenge: methane emissions. To help combat that issue, we are committed to composting. Composting quickly and efficiently assists in reducing methane emissions by turning waste into a beneficial soil amendment that helps facilitate plant growth and improves soil health.
